Then…
Because of Them
It was because of Vito Danisi (1825-1915) and Eugenia Grumo (1825-1915) that many of us are here today. We are of their lineage. Vito and Eugenia were poor peasants from Palo del Colle, Bari in Italy. Although they never came to America, many of their children did emigrate. That is why we live here! They had six children – one of whom you can trace back to your direct lineage: Francesco Danisi (1863-1948), Michele Danisi (1861-1952) , Giovanni Danisi (1895-1961), TomasoDanisi(1884-1971), Giuseppe Danisi (1871-1963), and Rosa Danisi.
